Insulation
Division 7 Building Contractors provides an extensive variety of commercial insulation products that provide increased thermal performance and energy efficiency. These products can be used across the entire building envelope, from the foundation to the roof and any surface in-between.
TAPERED INSULATION
Tapered insulation promotes rooftop drainage while providing excellent insulating value. By directing water to drains and scuppers, the negative effects of ponding water are minimized and the life of the roof is extended.
COVERBOARD
Insulating coverboards provide an attractive alternative to gypsum products due to their reduced weight, which makes installation simpler and more cost effective.
POLYISOCYANURATE
Polyiso insulation is the most commom roofing insulation and can be attached mechanically, fully adhered, or ballasted down with stone. Division 7's insulation products are fully warrantable and compatible with all membrane roof systems.
EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE
Available in a wide variety of sizes with multiple options for facers, EPS insulation offers high R-values while featuring up to 25% recycled content for sustainability. Expanded Polystyrene is chosen predominately due to its' balance of energy efficiency with environment friendliness.
EXTRUDED POLYSTYRENE
Extruded Polystyrene is a closed-cell commercial insulation that features low thermal conductivity, high resistance to water penetration and high compressive strength. More commonly known as XPS, this insulation is lightweight and suitable for bonding to a variety of membranes and alternative substrates.
